I love this place. I used to go to the Cathay Pathetic.. I mean Cathay Pacific, till I found this place. The food is excellent, much more a taste than other places. You can tell the cooks in the kitchen know what they're doing and make sure everything comes out right. The pork fried rice is great it's nice and light unlike some other places I've been. My favorite item on the menu is pot stickers followed in a close second by the boneless spare ribs. My orders have always been ready with time to spare, the staff has always been friendly and helpful.

I have eaten here many times before. The food was great until tonight. The sweet n sour chicken tasted like watered down sweet n sour sauce. It was swimming in what tasted like cherry kool-aid. what happened!

I ordered takeout with the boyfriend. The woman who answered the phone was nice. I placed an order of Tidbit #1 Egg Roll, Boneless Spareribs, Teriyaki Chicken, Crab Rangoon, and a dinner plate of General Gau's Chicken with a side of pork fried rice and boneless spare ribs. The egg roll, rice, and spare ribs were really good, but the Teriyaki Chicken and General Gau's liver (I mean chicken) were gross. Please don't even try to tell me that was chicken. Maybe a chicken liver, but to be honest I don't ever want to know. The color looked identical to that of a liver. It was just pure gross. This is Quincy. Why is it so hard to find good Chinese food? I travel to Whitman for mine. That's shameful.

Quincy Dynasty is our favorite Chinese restaurant!!! And that is saying a lot - my wife and I have eaten Chinese food in a some of world's best China-towns (Boston, NY, San Francisco, and Singapore) - plus on two trips to China, in Beijing, Wuhan, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, and Hong Kong). OK, we are not Asian, so we can't speak to the "authenticity," but I really don't understand how another reviewer can call the food typical "American-Chinese" (which makes me think of pupu platters and greasy fried rice). The Sunday buffet is the best - highly recommended! They have the buffet all week, but have more selections on Sunday. Now, let me say that most buffets in restaurants are terrible assortments of mediocre food that is all dried out after sitting for hours in a hot table, and should be avoided at all costs (If want the real gory details of why you should avoid buffets, read Anthony Bourdain's 'Kitchen Confidential').But Quincy Dynasty has a great buffet - the size of the dishes are fairly small, but they replenish them with fresh food very frequently. And there is not only a good variety of hot dishes, cold dishes, and dim sum dishes, but they vary the dishes. Almost every time we go there, we see something different - and we've been there a lot over the past almost 10 years. Not sure if we've ordered off the menu more than once when they didn't have the buffet on that day, but the food has been consistently very fresh and not greasy - And the place is consistently very clean - most importantly including the bathrooms. (Unfortunately, often a trip to a restaurant's bathroom will ruin your appetite even though the dining room looks fine.)The city of Quincy has so many Chinese restaurants, but if you haven't tried Quincy Dynasty, you should. We love it!

The front desk lady that takes the call order at night needs to be more courteous to the customer. She needs to learn some manners and not rush the customer when they are trying to place an order!Other than that, the food is not bad.

... just thought I'd give this place another try after 2 years. Uhhhh.... the place looks nice and clean and the service is prompt. But... I go out to eat for the FOOD. There were 2 of us eating at this over-priced Chinese place. Dish 1: Shrimp with veggies; spicy with no recognizable flavor and very fishy tasting shrimp and pork fried rice from last year. Dish 1 was barely tolerable. Dish 2: beef with veggies with a brown sauce with white rice; tiny slivers of beef and veggies. This abomination was like soup on a plate and the taste was like a combination of burn't leaves swimming in vinegar. I asked the manager to have the chef taste dish #2 and let me know if he was still alive after 5 minutes. So, if you want a beer with white rice, go to QD; otherwise (as Dan B says)... this place S#cks.

This place sucks. They strategically place dead fish throughout the buffet as "centerpieces" in the hopes that it will kill your appetite. It worked on my wife, but DIDN'T with me. My hunger was too strong.Their duck sauce isn't even the right color. Who even knows how it tastes?I don't even care. I'll just never go here again. Place is garbage. End of story. Why would you even open a restaurant if you're not going to try?

Mediocre. The food is not amazing, but not terrible. With Quincy having such great Chinese food, why not go somewhere else? I've given it about 4 chances and sometimes it's bad, sometimes it is good. I've never been impressed though.

Good chinese food in Quincy. Albeit it's Americanized and very stereo typical, I still enjoyed myself eating here with my friends. We were all starving and just wanted to grab a bite to eat at a place that wouldn't give us food poisoning. After a hit and miss try at another restaurant down the road, we tried this place and it was perfect. The chicken wings are hot and fresh, and the string beans were very good with rice.I felt the portions were a bit small and wish there was more food per serving. My friends had a huge drink to share with another friend. It was an atomic something or rather. I don't think they liked it that much.Other than the drink, the food is good. This place is a good joint to go to.

My wife and I have eaten Chinese food in numerous restaurants (over 4 weeks in China), Kowloon, Chinatown in Singapore, Chinatown in San Francisco, Chinatown in NYC, and of course Chinatown in Boston, but this is our favorite Chinese restaurant. We've been going to it since we moved to Quincy in 2003 and have never been disappointed. We especially love the Sunday buffet. Buffets at many restaurants can be awful, but at the Quincy Dynasty they put out small portions and replenish then frequently so it is very fresh. The food is never greasy, the restaurant is very clean, and the dishes are unique (not the cliche poo-poo platter stuff). Often it has dim sum dishes, sushi, crab legs... the salt & pepper shrimp is delicious. I can't rave enough!?
